Privacy notice

Who we are

Artemis Maps is made in Montenegro and is responsible for the personal data described here.

Visiting this website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts, photos and scripts all come from our own server, which keeps no access log.

To stop abuse, the beta form counts requests per internet address for up to one hour, in memory only. The address is never written down.

Beta sign-up

If you sign up, we store your email address, your phone type (Android or iPhone), the language of the page and the time you agreed. We use them only to send you the beta invite link and news about Artemis Maps.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). The data stays in our own database on a server in Frankfurt, Germany (Oracle Cloud). We never sell it. To send emails we may use an email delivery service working for us; it receives only your address and the message.

We keep your data until you withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time by writing to us or with the link in every email.

Invite links

The Android invite opens Google Play and a Google Group for testers; the iPhone invite opens Apple TestFlight. When you join, Google or Apple handle your data under their own privacy policies.

Buying premium

Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. The Paddle payment window loads only when you press the buy button. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive your email address and what you bought, so we can give you premium in the app.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent at any time, and complain to a data protection authority: in Montenegro, the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information; in the EU, the authority of your country.

Changes

If this notice changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for data you have already given us, we tell you by email first.
